Feeling better about things is something that can actually be learned --- like riding a bicycle. You don't need to wait for things to actually get better. The noted author, lecturer and sales expert, Zig Zigler, once drew a comparison between the human mind and a field which has just been plowed. Ideas are like "seeds". Plant good seed and you harvest a good crop. Plant bad ones and your field is a bunch of troublesome weeds. We all have 'the weeds' and need to get rid of them. They're ugly and they can provide us with an ugly outlook on life. The good news is that when you get rid of them, your garden is much nicer and the crops which you're actually trying to grow will inevitably do much better. There's lots of gardening tips and information out there. This site contains what has worked for me. Sharing my ideas on my site has the advantage of making them clearer and therefore, more powerful . 'Feel(ing) Better about Things' is about developing a certain degree of immunity to the "ups and downs" of life. When we start to realize that this is a possibility, we can learn how to start living and stop "stressing out".
